History

In 2018, JSC Escolit, a modern pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Telšiai, Lithuania, was established. Also this year, an agreement was signed between JSC Escolit and the Lithuanian LVPA to participate in the Region Invest programme, which focuses on high-tech industrial production based on innovation and job creation. The production complex was put into operation on 24 March 2022. After assessing the prospects for cooperation with the Lithuanian scientific community and in order to support the development of the scientific potential of the Republic of Lithuania, an agreement was signed in October 2022 between Escolit and Vytautas Magnus University on broad cooperation in research, development of various new products, and the training of highly qualified personnel for pharmaceutical sector companies. In November 2022, Escolit was included in the Lithuanian Register of Food Supplement Manufacturers. In February and March 2023, the first 8 products of the Rexsavit range were registered. In April, production of the registered food supplements started in one of the production areas, using raw materials prepared in the European Union and components produced in Lithuania.
